I've been loving the current 2 week challenge! I'm totally uncoordinated so the whole tae bo portion has been the most challenging for me. I have to say though, this may sound crazy, but I actually feel stronger after just one week. I feel like my core is tighter and my posture is better. Which is huge for me, my posture sucks. My little guy has been trying to do the Fired Up work out with me too, love it!
I was doing pretty good with the nutrition part, I did have some pizza & chicken quesadilla's one night from our local pizza & mexican restaurant, (yes, that exists). I can't wait to finish up this week of the challenge and see my results!
Also, today i'm joining a couple of the other sister's in celebrating MLK jr. day with some good old planks! I have 81 more to go, wish me luck!!
Hopefully I will be able to stay awake and come to mamavation tv tonight. It used to be the highlight of my week, but I've been conking out around 9:30 lately.
What are your latest healthy food discoveries?
I recently tried a breakfast recipe that called for quinoa and I really enjoyed it! The flavor and texture really added a lot to the dish and I'm going to look for more recipes that use it. I would love to try Chia also, I've heard so many great things about it!
