Mamavation Monday: The Sickies

After close to a week of taking care of my sick boys and getting NO exercise I decided that I needed a change. On Wednesday I thought it was easy enough to take a few minutes out to do the 100 push up challenge and then I decided to continue with my C25K while my husband was on lunch (he works from home.) Then I followed along with the mamavation mom hazing. I continued like this on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday I woke up feeling very sore. I had planned on doing my C25K and going grocery shopping but I was so sore that I just went grocery shopping. When I returned from the store I could hardly walk up the stairs into my house and then it hit me. I wasn't sore, I was achy. I was getting the flu. So I did what any normal person would do, I pretended I wasn't getting sick. But, by the end of the night Saturday the sickness had taken over. I had a high fever, the chills, and a sore throat. My whole body felt so weak and I spent the entire day Sunday couch bound. I'm feeling a lot better today but I am definitely still sick. I'm really hoping tomorrow I will be back to 100%, this week is April vacation from school and my husband is leaving for a business trip tomorrow afternoon. It's going to be a long week but I will get through it!
