Whoooo! What a busy week! We got the house all cleaned early in the week so we could bring all our Christmas decorations in. On Wednesday night we got together with some friends and family and on Thursday – Thanksgiving! We spent the long weekend putting up all our decorations and just hanging out together. Oh, and some where in there we started sleep training the little guy (it’s going good, so far!) and I had hiccups for 24 hours (so annoying.)
So my goals for last week were to drink more water and get in 10,000 steps a day. Although, I didn’t reach my goal for steps every day, I did wear my pedometer and I was more aware of how much activity I was actually getting. When I got on the scale this morning, I was happy to see I lost a half a pound! I know it’s not a lot but it is so easy to gain weight during the holidays, so any loss pretty fantastic in my book!
This week I am still keeping with my water and step goals and I am also going to try to get to the gym 1-2 times a week and do an exercise DVD at home at least once a week. I am also going to cut back on dairy & sugar. Hopefully the scale will continue to move in the downward direction!
