Mamavation Monday–Aaah!

mondaysgraphicwbrown1

Well, it’s Monday.

Last week was filled with lots of cleaning of icky stuff, mostly laundry from my 4-year-old with a stomach bug and some disinfecting. Since there was a lot of down time I got a whole lot of the house cleaned and now it looks like an Easter tornado has struck us.

It was a pretty exhausting week for the whole family. I got to get out to the gym one time, which was a nice little break and I ran the Mamavation virtual 5K on Saturday, which I wasn’t really feeling up to.   The pants I wore to run in were too big and kept falling down.  I am usually excited about my pants being too big but it was pretty annoying when I was trying to run!

I am leaving for a little vacation with my husband in TEN days and I think I have 1 million things to get done before then. I have to get everything ready for the kids, I want the house to be in order, I have a few blog posts I have to get written and I actually have to get myself ready to go! Then, of course, once we are on our way I will be worrying about everything I didn’t do and missing my kids and worrying about them as well. Seems relaxing, right?

This post is sponsored by RockMyRun & Mamavation – a community dedicated to obesity prevention & weight loss for women and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway.

  2. I totally can relate to the whirlwind of Easter! My kids were on spring break last week and I feel like my house is a wreck! I'm trying to get back on top of it now...and I have to go camping with girl scouts this weekend...so I will be coming home to a warzone I'm sure! Keep doing what you are doing, pants falling off while running is awesome!

  3. I seriously hate when my pants are too big during a run. That and when my shirt rides up. I'm right there with you on the busyness....it's been crazy here. I'm hoping for a little mellow time before summer break starts!
