Today is National Cheeseburger Day! My husband and I fired up the grill at lunchtime to celebrate with a guilt-free option – Cluck’n’Moo Burgers.
Cluck 'N Moo™ is the first and only half-chicken (50%), half-beef (50%) burger, made from antibiotic and hormone free, humanely raised chickens and grass-fed cows. Cluck ‘N Moo is unique in that it offers that same beef burger taste we all crave, but without the large amounts of artery-clogging fat. Cluck n’ Moo’s innovative “Smashed Burger” blend offers 52% less fat, 34% less calories and 57% less saturated fat than a regular all beef burger.
This was our first time trying them and they were really good! Even my red-meat loving husband enjoyed them. I love that there is now a healthy burger option out there that actually tastes like a burger. I do love the occasional turkey burger or veggie burger, but sometimes – you just want a burger!
Although we only had American Cheese on hand, I think they would be amazing topped with spinach and feta or avocado and cheddar jack – yum! They also have a slew of recipes available on their website.
